- Details of Disappearance:
- A waitress named Ault disappeared from her Rosburg, Washington home on June 24, 2001. She’d had a fight with her boyfriend, “Cowboy Mike” Braae, that same day. A month later, some of her belongings were found at a rest stop, but she wasn’t there.
Police initially thought she’d run off, but now Braae is the main suspect. He’s a suspected serial killer; he was later convicted of raping and murdering a woman in 2001 and is also a suspect in other disappearances and a death. Although he was charged with attempted murder in another case, the charges didn’t stick.
Braae refuses to talk about Ault’s disappearance, and even though he’s a prime suspect, no one has been charged with her disappearance, which remains a mystery.
