- On August 7, 1985, Scott vanished from her home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It seemed like she left on her own; her clothes were laid out for the next day, and her alarm clock was set. Police think she left voluntarily, but they don’t know why.
Five weeks later, her car was found in a canal, with the keys in the ignition. There was no sign of Scott. Searches found nothing. She had two young children who were with their father at the time.
To this day, no one knows what happened to Scott. Her disappearance remains a mystery.
