- On February 21, 2003, a woman named Phillips disappeared in Opp, Alabama. Her boyfriend, Marcellous Evans, got into a fight with her and deliberately crashed into her car. After the fight, she vanished.
Two years later, on March 30, 2005, Evans told police where to find Phillips’ body near the Tri States Gun Club in Daleville, Alabama. He admitted to hitting her on the head after their argument, which led to her death, but claims it wasn’t intentional. He’s pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
