- On August 2, 2018, Maria Escobedo disappeared from her home in Seadrift, Texas. Her husband came home at 7:00 p.m. and found their four-month-old baby alone, but he hadn’t heard from her since 1:00 p.m. She left her phone, keys, and other belongings behind. Her family says she was a good mother and would never leave her baby and seven-year-old son. Police don’t think she left on her own; they think something bad happened to her. The case is still a mystery.
