Details of Disappearance:
On December 29, 2016, Suzanne Fleming and her family were on a private plane going home after a Cleveland Cavaliers basketball game. The plane took off from Cleveland’s Burke Lakefront Airport, but crashed into Lake Erie just three minutes later, two miles from the airport. Suzanne’s husband John (the pilot), their two sons (Jack and Andrew), a family friend (Brian Casey), and Brian’s daughter (Megan Casey) were all on board.

Investigators believe the pilot got disoriented and was too tired, causing the crash. Unfortunately, Suzanne, her son Andrew, and Megan Casey were never found. They are believed to have died in the accident. Suzanne was a social worker who graduated from Youngstown State University and supported the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Pictures of John, Jack, and Brian are available.
