- A woman named Huston vanished from Spartanburg, South Carolina, sometime around late May or early June 2004. Because she lived alone and wasn’t working, nobody noticed her disappearance right away. A year later, in August 2005, her ex-boyfriend admitted to killing her. He said he hit her with a clothes iron. He then showed police where he’d left her body – just bones by then – in an industrial park. It took two weeks to officially confirm it was her using dental records. Her ex-boyfriend was arrested and charged with murder.
