Details of Disappearance:
In May 1995, Donna Hill disappeared from her home in Holland, Ohio. She and her husband argued about her drug problem, and she stormed out without shoes or a purse. Nobody heard from her again. Her mom didn’t report her missing until July.

Hill and her husband were unemployed and lived in a house without a phone, so her disappearance went unnoticed for a while. She’d left home before for short periods, but never this long. She usually kept in touch with her mother and saw her four sons, who were in foster care.

Hill had a troubled past: she dropped out of high school, used crack cocaine, and had a history of violent arguments with her husband. Police had been called to their house many times. Doctors discovered she had cervical cancer during her last pregnancy, but she never got treatment.

Because of the circumstances – the fight, her drug use, the violence, and the fact she’s never been found – police think she was murdered, but the case remains unsolved.
