- Details of Disappearance:
- Tammy Arthur and her boyfriend, Chad Peters, vanished. They lived in Corpus Christi, Texas, and Chad worked as an electrician. He’d recently moved there from Ohio.
In early November 2018, Tammy texted family that she and Chad were in Laredo, Mexico, for Chad’s work. She said their car – a silver 2018 Honda Civic Del Sol (license plate KWB0872) – was stolen, along with their IDs. This made it hard for them to return to the US. However, the police haven’t confirmed the car theft.
The FBI has video of them crossing the border between Texas and Mexico several times. The last time was November 7th, and the car was packed, suggesting they were moving to Mexico.
Confusingly, Tammy called her children’s stepmother on November 9th, saying she was in Bruni, Texas. This was the last contact anyone had with either Tammy or Chad.
Their disappearance is a mystery. Their families are worried and say their vanishing is completely out of character.
