- Teala went missing in Pittsburgh on September 5, 1967. Two weeks later, her body was discovered in a dump in Salem Township. Because nobody knew who she was, she was buried in an unmarked grave. Almost 50 years later, in 2015, her body was dug up again, and finally identified as Teala’s in August 2016.
