- On August 7, 1987, in Marshall, Texas, a woman named Barnett disappeared. Her husband dropped her off at a pharmacy parking lot around 10:30 a.m. so she could drive home. She never arrived. Her car was left unlocked and empty in the parking lot. A few days later, her purse was found about three miles away. Because she’s never been seen or heard from again, and her car and purse were found separately, police think something bad happened to her.
