Details of Disappearance:
On August 29, 2007, Watson disappeared. He was last seen in Charleston County, South Carolina, at 5:00 a.m. He’d separated from his wife and was living with his girlfriend.

His car, a white 1988 Honda Prelude, was found abandoned just after midnight on August 30th, near the Russell Creek Bridge. The car was unlocked, with the lights on, trunk open, windows down, and keys in the ignition. His wallet, phones, shoes, and other belongings were inside. Importantly, there was a small spot of fresh blood on the driver’s seat.

Another deputy thinks he saw the same car just 13 minutes earlier, heading towards Edisto Island. This deputy knew Watson and believed he was driving.

Watson was a construction worker who’d been on disability since heart surgery a few years earlier. He was a church member and had a grown-up daughter.

Police suspect foul play, but Watson’s disappearance remains a mystery.
