- Funk disappeared from his Gainesville, Georgia home on October 1, 2011. His roommate saw him last that day. When the roommate woke up, Funk was gone, but his phone and truck were still there. He’s never contacted anyone since and this is very unusual for him. The police still don’t know what happened.
