- Details of Disappearance:
- On May 29, 2005, Mr. McLaughlin vanished from San Diego. He’d only been living in a care home for six days before disappearing without a trace. His brother said he’d been acting strangely beforehand, obsessed with religion and the end of the world.
Three days later, June 3rd, his blue 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe (license plate 5CDH056) was towed. The car had blankets, towels, and lots of toilet paper inside, but his wallet and keys were gone. The car smelled like smoke, but there were no cigarettes.
No one has heard from Mr. McLaughlin since, and what happened to him remains a mystery.
