Details of Disappearance:
On February 18, 1999, Bing planned to move furniture in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Later that day, he got a call asking him to go to Bluffton, South Carolina. He went with his friend, El Shawndrae Jones. They were last seen around 6:30 PM driving Bing’s white Toyota truck. Both men disappeared.

Six days later, Bing’s truck was found abandoned in Savannah, Georgia. Police later found a lot of Bing’s blood at the home of Sean Rico Sullivan in Bluffton. This blood showed Bing had been murdered, and Sullivan was charged with the crime. Police believe Sullivan shot Bing at his own home. They also think Jones was murdered, but Sullivan wasn’t charged with his death.

Sullivan was arrested later that year on drug charges and had a gun with him. Another man, Kenneth Campbell, was also arrested and charged with Bing’s murder after a long standoff with police.

In 2003, Sullivan and Campbell were convicted of murdering Bing and given life sentences. Sullivan and others were also convicted of drug conspiracy. The bodies of Bing and Jones have never been found.
