- Details of Disappearance:
- Massie disappeared in 1992. He was last seen using a drive-through ATM in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The next day, his car was found abandoned in the woods in Virginia, about a five-hour drive away. The license plate was gone, but some of his belongings were still inside. He was never seen again.
After Massie vanished, his family learned he had been using drugs. He lived in Ohio before his disappearance, and his father later worked as a minister in Indiana. There’s been no trace of him since 1992; his Social Security number hasn’t been used. The police still don’t know what happened to him.
