- On January 11, 2007, Jackson disappeared from St. Augustine, Florida. He dropped his daughter off at school that morning and went home, as usual. He was supposed to start work at 2:00 p.m. at a rest stop on Interstate 95, but he never showed up. His wife called him around 4:00 p.m., but got his voicemail. He’s never been seen or heard from since.
His old, gray Pontiac 6000 (license plate X20EXQ) was also gone. His wife said the car was in bad shape, so she doubts he went far.
Jackson sometimes felt depressed, but police don’t think that’s why he disappeared, and they don’t think he hurt himself. He was a responsible person who wouldn’t just leave without telling anyone. Police suspect foul play, and the case remains a mystery.
