All of her teeth are missing.
Details of Disappearance:
On October 30, 1984, three days after her 20th birthday, Ramsey visited her parents in Kansas City, Missouri. She left to talk to a neighbor and vanished. A friend saw her later that day, and she may have been seen walking towards her parents’ house, but she never arrived. Ramsey lived about a mile and a half away, and walked there daily. She left behind a husband and two young sons, and her disappearance was completely out of character.

Ramsey was one of several women (aged 13-31) from northeast Kansas City who disappeared or were murdered over 12 years. Some were prostitutes. Many bodies were found in rivers, badly beaten and mutilated. Ramsey and another woman, Tammie Wilkinson, remain missing.

Gregory Breeden became the prime suspect in seven of these cases in 1994. Police found disturbing items in his home: women’s clothing, teeth, knives, and muddy underwear. He knew some victims, had dated one, and seemed to know details about the murders that weren’t public. He claimed to have seen Ramsey after her disappearance and said her body would never be found.

In 1996, Breeden was charged with murder but the case was dropped due to a key witness refusing to testify. He served time for writing bad checks but was never convicted of violent crimes, although violence was mentioned in a divorce. He died in 2014.

It’s unknown if Breeden was involved in Ramsey’s or Wilkinson’s disappearances, or if the cases are connected. Both remain unsolved.
