Details of Disappearance:
Tracy went missing from Columbiana County, Ohio on June 7, 2001. She’d worked a temporary job for six weeks at a machine shop and reported to work that day. The next day, someone claiming to be Tracy called in sick, and that was the last time anyone heard from her.

Her family reported her missing on June 17th after her college (Kent State University, Salem campus) noticed her absences. Her belongings were all at her home except for her purse. Dirty dishes were left on the table – unusual for her.

Her car was found later at Mark’s Landing, but there was no sign of her or any clues.

Tracy was separated from her husband, Clifford, and had a protection order against him the day before she vanished. Clifford was arrested for using her car after her disappearance, claiming he had permission. His car was found near his mother’s house. While he was never charged with Tracy’s disappearance, he has a long criminal record including theft, forgery, and eventually a 23-year sentence for a home invasion robbery. He remains a person of interest in her case.

Tracy’s family suspects she was murdered and her body may be in Wayne County, but there’s no proof. Police have searched extensively but found nothing. The case remains unsolved, with foul play suspected due to her complete disappearance. Tracy was a graduate of Waynedale High School. Some records list Rogers, Ohio, as the location of her disappearance.
