- Details of Disappearance:
- Travis Lynch disappeared on Christmas Eve 2003. After drinking heavily, he left his girlfriend’s house around 1:00 a.m. to drive home. He never arrived and never called his girlfriend, who then contacted his mother. His family went to the girlfriend’s house to look for him, but weren’t let in. His mother reported him missing on December 26th.
Lynch’s new car, a white 1992 Pontiac Grand Am (license plate RZS-4814), is also missing.
Four months later, the mobile home of his girlfriend’s family burned down in two separate fires. Police suspect the fires were suspicious, possibly connected to Lynch’s disappearance. The home was occupied by Sean Whitley, who is now in prison for drug crimes.
Lynch had a bad temper, and police think he may have gotten into a fight that led to his death. The case remains unsolved.
