Details of Disappearance:
On April 1, 2002, Burley disappeared after leaving his mother’s house in Baltimore. He was driving a green minivan and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. This was strange because he had a baby son, and his mother said he wouldn’t just leave him.

Police believe Burley was killed by the Lexington Terrace Boys, a dangerous drug gang. This gang was responsible for many shootings and deaths. Burley’s past was troubled; he’d been in trouble with the law since he was 16 and was a former gang member, though his mother said he was trying to change his life. Tragically, both of Burley’s brothers were also murdered.

Burley disappeared with his cousin, Michael Taylor, another gang member. They’d argued because Burley wouldn’t give up a gun Taylor had used in other murders. Taylor, along with another man, Keon Moses, was later convicted of several murders, including Burley’s. A third man, Aaron Butler, helped police in exchange for a life sentence.

Police found blood in a Baltimore house that was burned down a few days after Burley disappeared. They think this is where he was killed. Taylor and Moses were found guilty and given life sentences in 2004. Police are still looking for Burley’s body. Everything points to him being murdered.
