- A woman named Domingue vanished from Opelousas, Louisiana in May 2014. Two years later, her boyfriend, Dereck Viator, was arrested and charged with her murder. Three other people—Brady Derouen, Johnny Primeaux, and Ernest Ray—were also arrested for helping to hide the crime. Viator had already been accused of murder in two other cases. Domingue’s body was finally found in a ravine near Abbeville in August 2019. The case is still going through the courts, and nobody has been tried yet.
