- Maria Gallegos vanished from Gun Barrel City, Texas on January 11, 2005. Her boyfriend said she left with a suitcase, maybe going back to Mexico. But she never contacted anyone again. Her family didn’t report her missing until a few days later. Strangely, she left behind her purse, her ID, and her baby, only six months old. The boyfriend is a suspect, but he won’t talk to police anymore. Police think something bad might have happened to her, but they don’t have much information.
