Details of Disappearance:
On September 24, 2004, Lynn went for a walk and disappeared. She spoke to her husband before 8 a.m., telling him she was going for a walk, and he told her to take her cell phone. He called her repeatedly that day, but she didn’t answer. When he got home, she was gone.

There were unconfirmed reports of someone seeing her walking near U.S. Highway 82 that day. She left without her purse, money, or ID, but possibly took a water bottle. Her phone was with her, but it wasn’t used.

Her husband said she was getting more depressed before she disappeared, and he thinks she might have wandered off because of her illness.

Police later looked for a light blue Chevrolet pickup truck (from 1975-1980) that was possibly seen near where Lynn disappeared. They aren’t sure if the truck is connected to her disappearance, but they want to talk to the driver.

Lynn was from Farwell, New Mexico, and had recently retired from teaching sixth grade. Her family says she never disappeared without telling anyone before. There wasn’t much evidence to explain what happened, and her case is still unsolved.
