Details of Disappearance:
In June 1988, in Cucuta, Colombia, Vivian’s nanny took her to the park. The baby disappeared and was never seen again.

Someone demanded $20,000 for her return. Police quickly caught three kidnappers: the nanny and two people who worked for Vivian’s dad. They confessed, but couldn’t agree on where Vivian was.

One story said they left her in the mountains. Vivian’s dad searched and found some of her things, but not Vivian. Another kidnapper later said Vivian was sold for adoption, possibly in Venezuela or even Denver, Colorado.

The FBI is helping to find her. Vivian’s family thinks she might be living in the US or Venezuela. She has family in Illinois, and might look like her sister (a picture is available). Because she might be in the US, this case is being highlighted to help find her. The case is still unsolved.
