Details of Disappearance:
On September 13, 2002, Farrer disappeared near Louisville, Georgia. A witness saw him that morning around 10:00 a.m. with two armed men in a white Dodge truck with North Carolina plates. Later that day, his boat was found at his favorite fishing spot on Rocky Comfort Creek, with his fishing gear but no sign of him. His truck was parked nearby, with his keys and shotgun inside.

A thorough search found nothing. Police considered accidental drowning, suicide, or him leaving voluntarily, but found no evidence to support those ideas. Farrer was a good swimmer, and the creek wasn’t deep. He had no financial problems and was happy in life.

However, several things are suspicious. Farrer had been attacked at the same spot in February 2002, by two men who tried to rob him with a stun gun. After that, he always carried a gun fishing. His family suspects foul play, and after his disappearance, his sister received anonymous letters hinting at who might be involved.

The case remains unsolved, and Farrer is still officially missing. The fact that he was seen with armed men, his previous attack at the same location, and the anonymous letters strongly suggest the possibility of foul play, though no definitive proof exists.
