Details of Disappearance:
William Muller vanished on March 23, 1987, after leaving his plumbing job in Philadelphia. He drove away in his black car but never reached his home. His house looked like he left in a rush – his guns were still there, dinner was on the stove, but his car was gone and hasn’t been found.

This happened just two weeks after William sued his brother, Frederick, over their mother’s estate, including their childhood home. William suspected Frederick was dealing drugs from the house. After William disappeared, the lawsuit ended.

Years later, in 2000, Frederick was arrested for making meth in that very house. Police also suspected him in the 1998 murder of a Philadelphia police officer (whose arm was found in New Jersey) and William’s disappearance. Frederick was convicted on the drug charges in 2001, but never charged with murder in either case.

William was recently divorced but had three daughters and family in the area. He was declared legally dead in 1994, and his belongings were given to his family.
