Details of Disappearance:
In February 1981, a man named Woolheater left his home in Albany, New York, saying he was going to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and to look for a cooking job. He called his mom shortly after leaving, but didn’t say if he’d reached New Orleans. He’s never been seen or heard from since.

Police aren’t sure if he even made it to Louisiana. The year before, he’d been arrested in Long Beach, California, for drunk walking in traffic. His family said he had a drinking problem.
