Details of Disappearance:
On October 21, 2000, a man named Bass disappeared. He was last seen driving his tan and brown 1977 Chevrolet Caprice (a two-door car) with Texas license plate C82-MRB. He was near Highway 84 and Loop 340 in Bellmead, Texas, on his way to Waco to get his car inspected and get new license plates. He left home at 9:00 a.m. but never made it. His car was never found.

There were some reports of people seeing him for a few days after he vanished, but these weren’t confirmed. He only had a blank check with him – no cash or credit cards. He lived in Mart, Texas.

Police aren’t sure what happened. They think he might have had a stroke and lost his memory (amnesia), or that he might have been robbed of his car. The case is still a mystery.
