- On June 6, 1991, a man named Weatherall vanished from his Los Angeles home on Crocker Street. He was last seen leaving in a pink van driven by a Black woman whose identity is unknown.
He was expecting a call from a friend that evening and planned to stay home. When the friend couldn’t reach him, she alerted his family. They found his gate open (unusual for him), his van parked outside, and his two German Shepherds unfed.
Police think something suspicious happened. Weatherall’s family suspects it’s connected to a $17,000 loan he gave a friend who never repaid him. Even though it’s been investigated, no one has been arrested, and the case remains a mystery.
