- Fox disappeared in Jacksonville, Florida on August 6, 2006. She’d been at a flea market with her ex-fiancé, Robert Welch, and they argued. Fox left with some people nobody knows, and she’s never been seen or heard from since.
Police think something bad happened to her, because she wouldn’t just disappear without telling anyone. Her relationship with Welch was troubled, and he wouldn’t talk to her aunt about it. While he’s not officially a suspect in Fox’s disappearance, he was charged with a crime in 2021 involving tampering with someone’s drink.
Before she vanished, Fox worked as a waitress at a restaurant called The Pig. She lived with her grandmother in Jacksonville, near her mom. She’d gone to high school in West Nassau and had lived in Ohio for a while after getting married, but moved back to Florida after her husband died.
The mystery of what happened to Fox remains unsolved.
